Open Question: Do those MBT shoes hurt your muscles the first week you wear them? Is there pre-training before wearing them?

I am looking for a good pair of walking shoes for a trip to Disney World I am taking in 2 weeks. I am debating buying these shoes and don't receive me wrong, I plan to break them in, but will a week be enough? Will these shoes cause me pain during the trip because of every the walking and the newness of this type (technology) of shoe? Does anyone know?

Open Question: Retainerss! (: Questionn?

Ok, so like I know that this is sorta a long way away but I'm getting my braces off in June (: Yayy(: Soo like how long does it take usually) to receive your retainers, and I know my ortho gives like the clear retainers but this chick had to wear the other ones at night and the clear ones during school and every. And during school, I know you have to take them out and every but do you carry the case with you or just take it out and eat? Like what if you went to the Disney World and you were eating or something, I dont think I would carry my case everywhere? Open Question: How can I become a disney character at the disney world park?

I am currently a college program student at the disney program. And I am very interested in becoming one of the disney characters, like chip, dale or mickey mouse. But their is two problems,one I have two points on my record card including a discussion. But one point I have shouldn't be on their. AND my second problem is if I am to tall for one of the characters I only stand 5'1 but I heard Mickey Mouse is like 4'7 or something. My concern is will I be able to be a character with that nice of record card and am I too tall for Mickey Mouse and Chip and Dale.

Open Question: Can you bring tap shoes in a carry on bag on a plane?

I'm going on a trip to Disney World tomorrow to dance at Downtown Disney and i was wondering if the metal in my tap shoes would cause a problem if I put them in my carry on since I don't want to even take the chance of them getting lost somewhere. My sister gets to go to disney world tomorrow and for every of spring break. because she is in her high school drill team. Thay always go to an out of state trip every year. My parents said that they didn't have to pay for her trip. There is a thing were you can earn credits if you do so many jobs or something but they said that they didnt have to pay for it. I am in eighth grade and my US history teacher is taking everyone in my class who wants to go to Washington DC! It costs just below 1,000 dollars. Last year my sister went to New York City for 2,000 dollars, and my parens paid for that trip. BUT! AND receive THIS! They say that they cant afford my trip for 1,000 dollars to Washington DC! Open Question: Does Sea World allow pin trading?

I just started getting into the hobby of pin collecting and wish to keep it mostly with Sea World memorabilia. I learned that Disney and Universal Studios allows the trading of their pins on their parks but does Sea World allow such as they have just as many lovely designs to collect and the fact I'm not interested in Disney/Universal designs. I think trading is a very chilly way to meet people, and share common interest but I don't want to look awkward walking around in the park at Orlando with a lanyard full of Sea World pins and no one to trade with at the park. My family is so judgmental of me. Open Question: Extra Magic Hours Disney: can we use the "key to the world" on our check-in date and check-out date?

Ok - so I understand about the basics about the Extra Magic Hours at WDW. My family and I are staying at a WDW Value Resort for ONE NIGHT ONLY- then we are checking into a "non" disney resort for the remaining 7 days. We bought the 6-day park hopper option already online for every of us. My question is, can we use the Extra Magic Hours at the specified park on the check-in date AND check-out date of the Disney hotel/resort? Getting an evening of extra magic hours the check-in date and extra magic hours in the morning of the check-out date? Also, someone mentioned that when checking into the Disney hotel resort, they link the "key to the world" card (needed to attend EMH) to our park hopper tickets - will that allow us to use EMH during the remaining days on our tickets (we have 6-day passes but only the first day is at a disney resort) ???

Open Question: Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't really know how to explain this, but basically it goes like this: When I was little, like in elementary school/middle school, I was nice of different from everyone else at school, because I just came from another country, and didn't know anything about american life (I once walked into a boys bathroom) so people thought I was just really weird and didn't know anything. Because of this I didn't make very many friends in when younger, but I always made good grades and everything. In high school, I was really silent and made only 2 or 3 friends the whole time. I am in college now and I feel like I don't know how to talk to people, I'm really really shy and I think I have an inferiority complex, because of how I felt throughout my school years and because I happen to be really tiny, skinny, and smart (or people would say) Because I don't talk very much, people tend to think I am just weird or just too dumb. I don't know what to do about this? and also since I am shy people don't think that I do things like other people, like I adore to dance, and people that know me personally (family and relatives) understand that and they say that I can. But when someone that doesn't know me who thinks i am just a silent little girl, think its silly that I like to dance. Also they think its silly that I like every types of music(classical, hip hop, some rap(but not as much), some country(also not as much)...etc. and watch every types of movies just like everyone else (esp. horror/fantasy/ disney-pixar) I feel like this feeling is ruining my life and I cant show everyone that I am just like everyone else, because I don't know how to be open with anyone anymore. People tend to think I am ignorant of the world because of this. I don't know if i explained this right

My boyfriend of 5 months just broke up with me last night, mid conversation. No warning. And I'm pretty sure he would have done the whole thing thru text if I hadnt called him.We live 2 hrs apart. We don't receive to look each other often, but we text/call/email/snail mail every day. He came down here to visit me saturday before last. Actually, it's silly cuz the night before he came to look me, we got in a argument and I think he thought I was gonna dump him cuz he kept repeatedly calling and said,"It's not always gonna be this way" He was planning on moving down here in the fall to go to college, he hates the icy yet he wasmoving here. He told me, that Saturday for the first that he loved me. He told me long ago quote, "i wont say that. Not until Im absolutely sure I feel taht way. I said it once and lied, and promised myself I would never do that again." ANYWAYS...SO HE TELLS ME...AND THEN I START GETTING MESSAGES LIKE THIS: (LAST MONDAY):"Beautiful, smart, great kisser, amazing, loving, silly. out of this world (and our heads) experience, you rock my world, youre the adore of my life, and you are perfect for me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and for that I thank you. I adore you" (LAST THURSDAY): "I miss kissing you too, and holding you, and even just being close you." LAST WEDNESDAY HE CALLED AND WAS bubbly talked for an hour and he was really excited because he was going to Disney world on a school band competition . I was glad for him and even said not to waste time texting me while he was there. He said he would still write me. And he did....very sporiadiclly, tardy at night, just to say "just got back to the hotel. But it's past lights out. Gotta go. I adore you." Anywayys, that kinda frustrated me, but Monday I wrote and apologized for how frustrated I;ve been. That I adore him, respect him, and cherish our relationship. Then he called me monday, GRUMPIER THAT I;VE EVER HEARD (even picking fights with his mom in the background), and he talked for an hour straight bout his trip till he was hoarse. I could tell he was seriously jetlagged. Yesterday....he writes me last night, "Sorry it took me so long. I just got in a position to text you. How was your day?" And we started chatting and I told him what I'd done, that someone I know accidently sent me a text saying they loved me and were embarrassed, etc. He stopped writing, "Sorry. I fell asleep. Im still jetlagged." But we then started again, and I made a comment about how I still receive this feeling in my stomach each time I look him. HIS RESPONSE: "I do too. BUT..I hate to say this, but this long distance relationship just isnt working." Even though spring break's next week. He told me quote: "We're both frustrated, I can count the number of times we've seen each other on both hands. Im busy with high school, you're busy with school, and it isnt fair to either of us. It isnt working." When I asked why he didnt tell me this 2 weeks ago? He said "It's been builiding up. I waited until I was sure. I never want to have any regrets." I said but college is just 5 months away, and summers coming, and things will change. He said: "Five months is a long time." We've been together 5 months and he decides to break up midsentence?" GUYS! He's my first BF, my first kiss, and he's everything I could have wanted ina guy and more. This didnt even sound like him. I never have seen him act anything like this. How did he change from "adore of my life" to "this doesnt work" in 1 WEEK? PLEASE HELP! Im hurting! Do you think Im gonna receive a call or text this morning apologizing and changing mind

Open Question: My boyfriend just broke up with me...HELP! It's long...but Im HURTING! PLEASE!?

My boyfriend of 5 months just broke up with me last night, mid conversation. No warning. And I'm pretty sure he would have done the whole thing thru text if I hadnt called him.We live 2 hrs apart. We don't receive to look each other often, but we text/call/email/snail mail every day. He came down here to visit me saturday before last. Actually, it's silly cuz the night before he came to look me, we got in a argument and I think he thought I was gonna dump him cuz he kept repeatedly calling and said,"It's not always gonna be this way" He was planning on moving down here in the fall to go to college, he hates the icy yet he wasmoving here. He told me, that Saturday for the first that he loved me. He told me long ago quote, "i wont say that. Not until Im absolutely sure I feel taht way. I said it once and lied, and promised myself I would never do that again." ANYWAYS...SO HE TELLS ME...AND THEN I START GETTING MESSAGES LIKE THIS: (LAST MONDAY):"Beautiful, smart, great kisser, amazing, loving, silly. out of this world (and our heads) experience, you rock my world, youre the adore of my life, and you are perfect for me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and for that I thank you. I adore you" (LAST THURSDAY): "I miss kissing you too, and holding you, and even just being close you." LAST WEDNESDAY HE CALLED AND WAS bubbly talked for an hour and he was really excited because he was going to Disney world on a school band competition . I was glad for him and even said not to waste time texting me while he was there. He said he would still write me. And he did....very sporiadiclly, tardy at night, just to say "just got back to the hotel. But it's past lights out. Gotta go. I adore you." Anywayys, that kinda frustrated me, but Monday I wrote and apologized for how frustrated I;ve been. That I adore him, respect him, and cherish our relationship. Then he called me monday, GRUMPIER THAT I;VE EVER HEARD (even picking fights with his mom in the background), and he talked for an hour straight bout his trip till he was hoarse. I could tell he was seriously jetlagged. Yesterday....he writes me last night, "Sorry it took me so long. I just got in a position to text you. How was your day?" And we started chatting and I told him what I'd done, that someone I know accidently sent me a text saying they loved me and were embarrassed, etc. He stopped writing, "Sorry. I fell asleep. Im still jetlagged." But we then started again, and I made a comment about how I still receive this feeling in my stomach each time I look him. HIS RESPONSE: "I do too. BUT..I hate to say this, but this long distance relationship just isnt working." Even though spring break's next week. He told me quote: "We're both frustrated, I can count the number of times we've seen each other on both hands. Im busy with high school, you're busy with school, and it isnt fair to either of us. It isnt working." When I asked why he didnt tell me this 2 weeks ago? He said "It's been builiding up. I waited until I was sure. I never want to have any regrets." I said but college is just 5 months away, and summers coming, and things will change. He said: "Five months is a long time." We've been together 5 months and he decides to break up midsentence?" GUYS! He's my first BF, my first kiss, and he's everything I could have wanted ina guy and more. This didnt even sound like him. I never have seen him act anything like this. How did he change from "adore of my life" to "this doesnt work" in 1 WEEK? PLEASE HELP! Im hurting! HERES THE CLINCHER...I FOUND OUT THIS MORNING WHILE TALKING TO MY MOM, THAT MY DAD RAN INTO SOMEONE (who already hates my dad) WHO WALKS EVERY DAY WITH MY ex-BF's MOM, AND MY DAD DISSED MY GUY IN FRONT OF THE pal. SAYING HE HAD NO AMBITION, ETC. ETC. THAT WAS MONDAY NIGHT THAT THEY RAN INTO EACH OTHER. I KNOW HIS MOM WENT WALKING YESTERDAY WITH THE pal AND HEARD WHAT MY DAD SAID...DO YOU THINK THIS IS WHY MY BF BROKE UP WITH ME?

Open Question: How long should I spend in each park at Disney World?

I'm taking the special offer for 6days 5nights with a free $300 gift card. So I have 6 days to spend and 6 parks to visit (that is also including the two water parks). I'm aware I can't look everything in a week (I'm not doing Park Hopper). So here is my plight. I want to visit every of the following places in the span of 6 days. -Magic Kingdom -Animal Kingdom -Epcot -Hollywood Studios -Downtown Disney -Typhoon Lagoon -Blizzard Beach That's 7 Destinations for 6 days Now here were my previous ideas. -For the two water parks, spent half the day at one water park,and the other half at the other, leaving me a day to relax and explore Downtown Disney seperately or -Spend the first half of the day at Typhoon Lagoon and the last half at Downtown Disney, since it's opened tardy. I'm also aware that some people recommend spending more than one day at a specific park like Magic Kingdom. Well, i have 6 days and 7 places to go, so i have to make it work as best i can. Please make your best suggestions so i can look every places, even if it means missing out on a fireworks show or a ride or two. This if my first Disney World trip and it may be my only one for a long while.

Open Question: How long should i spend at Disney World's Water Parks?

I was going to do one park a day, but i only have 6 days and there are 6 parks, so i want a day to relax and spend at Downtown Disney. I was thinking about spending half the day at one water park, and the other half of the day at the other water park to keep a day. Does this sound like a good idea?

Open Question: How long should I spend in Epcot at Disney World?

I was thinking of arriving half the day in so i could spend the morning at Downtown Disney. I know they have the fireworks at night, so i want to look those. But, will I actually need a whole day to spend there? I don't plan on seeing too many of the shows at the Showcases, but i would like to do the Kim Possible attraction.

Will I need a full day? I know they have less shows and more walk-abouts, making it more like a zoo. I'm just trying to incorporate time to look every the parks and be able to store in the span of 6 days.

Open Question: How long can one generally stay at Hollywood Studios at Disney world?

In other words, will I need a whole day? I'm trying to fit in every the Magic Hours i can throughout the week. I will probably skip a decent bit of the shows at HWS and a few of the less interesting rides.

Open Question: Favorite Disney World restaurants with elementary aged kids?

We're heading to Disneyworld in a couple weeks (thanks, big sis!) and I want to make reservations for one or two meals at their sit-down restaurants (because I've heard that they do fabulous thing for kids with food allergies there). Maybe one breakfast & one lunch or dinner. The kids, at their current ages & temperaments (7, 8, 10 & 18) would not be impressed at every by costumed characters, so I'm not going out of my way to find a 'character meal'. I am looking at the website and am overwhelmed by the number of restaurants & dining styles available for reservations! I need help narrowing them down... Have you eaten at Disneyworld 'sit-down' restaurants? Which were your favorites and why?

Open Question: Can I buy Disney World theme park tickets at my Disney Resort?

We are planning a trip in mid October. I have heard that it rains a lot in October so I didn't want to purchase the tickets in advance in case we would not be able to use one or more. We will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort and I was wondering if I can buy Magic Kingdom, Epcot, ect..... tickets there. I dont really want to wait in line at the park to receive tickets. Thank you for your help! :)

Open Question: apartments near disney world, fl?

I am looking for an apartment no more than 10-15 miles off disney property. I would like it to have a decent fitness middle, and an open apt layout. Looking to spend no more than 850 a month. Itd be nice if the property was somewhat newer, in good condition. Let me know if you've lived anywhere that you loved! Thanks!
